About Calvary Day School

A Christ-centered school in Savannah since 1961.

History

Calvary Day School was founded in 1961 as a ministry of Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah, Georgia. From its earliest days, the school's purpose has been to provide children with an education shaped by the truth of Scripture and the lordship of Christ — academically rigorous, biblically grounded, and rooted in a local church.

Mission

Calvary Day School exists to partner with Christian families to educate students in an environment that is unapologetically Christ-centered, equipping them in knowledge, character, and faith for lives of service to God and neighbor.

Sponsoring Church

The school operates as a ministry of Calvary Baptist Temple. The convictions of the church define the convictions of the school: the authority of Scripture, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the formation of students according to a biblical worldview.
